How much space a corporate pickleball event needs

An official pickleball court is 20 × 44 feet, but an event court needs room around the lines so players can chase a ball without hitting a wall, a table, or the next court. Plan on roughly a 30 × 60 foot level area per court. Two courts side by side need about twice that width; a four-court block needs a footprint closer to a small parking lot. Court count depends on headcount, format, and how many hours you want people playing. A tournament seats fewer people at once than open play, and a two-hour block moves fewer players through than an all-day activation. Where the courts can go

Corporate events rarely happen somewhere that already has courts, which is why rollout systems exist. The court goes down on a hard, level surface — a parking lot, a plaza, a ballroom or exhibit-hall floor — and a subfloor system makes grass and less-than-perfect ground playable. How the day runs

For one or two courts on a dedicated hard surface, the crew often installs a couple of hours before doors open. Larger multi-court builds on a shared conference floor are usually loaded in after hours the day before. During the event, staff greet players, teach first-timers, run the format, keep score, and keep courts full. Once play ends, the crew breaks down and removes everything.
